About the School

A CBSE senior secondary school shaped by the National Education Policy 2020

Who we are

The school was founded in 1998 and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. We teach from the Foundational Stage through to Senior Secondary, following the 5+3+3+3 curricular and pedagogical structure introduced by the National Education Policy 2020.

We are a co-educational, English-medium school with a deliberate multilingual policy in the early years. Children in the Foundational and Preparatory stages learn substantially in the language they think in, alongside English, which is what the Policy asks of us and what the research supports.

What we are trying to do

The Policy sets out a goal that is easy to write and hard to deliver: an education that builds character, critical thinking and constitutional values alongside academic competence. In practice, for us, that means four commitments.

  • Competency over recall. Assessment is designed to test whether a child can apply an idea, not whether they can reproduce it. Our internal question papers follow the competency-based pattern the Board has moved towards.
  • Every subject has hands in it. Art-integrated and sports-integrated learning are timetabled, not occasional. Bagless days and vocational exposure begin from Class VI.
  • Nobody is streamed out. Students choose subject combinations across Science, Commerce and Humanities without artificial barriers, in line with the Policy's removal of rigid streams.
  • Wellbeing is staffed, not assumed. A full-time counsellor, a special educator and a wellness teacher are on the rolls, and their details are published under Mandatory Public Disclosure.

Affiliation and compliance

The school's affiliation status, infrastructure details, staff qualifications, fee structure and last three years of Board results are published in the CBSE Appendix-IX format on our Mandatory Public Disclosure page, and are reviewed each quarter.
