Transport

Routes, safety and what is expected of everyone

Fleet and safety

School buses are operated in compliance with the Supreme Court guidelines on school transport and the Motor Vehicles Act. Every bus carries GPS tracking, CCTV, a speed governor, a first-aid box and fire extinguishers. Drivers hold the required commercial licence and are police-verified; a trained female attendant travels on every route.

Routes

Routes cover the main residential areas of the city and nearby localities. The current route list with stoppages and timings is available on the Downloads page and through the School ERP.

For parents

  • Children should reach the stoppage five minutes before the scheduled time.
  • A parent or an authorised adult must receive children of the Foundational and Preparatory stages at the stoppage.
  • Route changes require a written application and take effect from the following month.
  • Transport fees are charged by route slab and are payable with the quarterly fee.

Reporting a concern

Concerns about driving, conduct or timing should be reported to the transport in-charge the same day. Serious concerns may be escalated through the grievance procedure.
